Accommodation

There is no accommodation, no camping available onsite.

Nearby accommodation may be available at The Goddard Arms (10 minute walk). There is also the Premier Inn Town Centre hotel, an all-renewable energy hotel, which is a 15 minute walk (down hill). They have parking.

Parking / transport

The venue (Old Town Gardens) is approximately a 25-30 minute walk to Swindon train station or bus station (or 15-18 minute bus ride from Devizes road, or a 6 minute ride in a taxi).

There is no parking onsite. The following are close by and best value:

Avoid Britannia place and Prospect place car parks as they are much more expensive for stays of 4+ hours.

Age restrictions

Performances are particularly well crafted for grown-ups, but children ages 7+ may enjoy them with adult supervision. Please see the programme for specific age guidance against each performance.

Accessibility

For those hard of hearing, please note that Storytellers will be performing in a large tipi without a microphone. Musicians will be performing on the bowl stage with a speaker.

For users with limited mobility, please read the Town Gardens FAQ page linked below. Access is a slope into the bowl or steep steps. There is wheelchair access. There is no toilet in the bowl itself, we recommend giving yourself plenty of time to reach the public facilities in the park if you are of limited mobility.

Customers who are wheelchair users or are in receipt of Personal Independence Payment, Attendance Allowance or who have a Certificate Of Visual Impairment, are able to reserve a complimentary companion ticket.
